Thornapple Arts Council – Mini-Grant Program
The purpose of the Mini-Grant Program is to help ease the financial burdens of classroom experiences. Teachers can apply for mini-grants up to $500. The mini-grant will be in the form of reimbursement and funds can be used to reimburse expenses accrued from bus and transportation fees, admission fees to museums or performances, speaker/presenter fees, visiting artist stipends, etc… Teachers can apply for these funds year-round but will be limited to receiving one mini-grant per school year. These funds are intended for classroom programs and not for individual student needs.
Please remember that this mini-grant will be in the form of a reimbursement. It is recommended to apply 3-4 weeks prior to the proposed activity so that you will know if funds are available and appropriate for your activity.
