Thornapple Arts Council – Minigrant Program
The purpose of the Minigrant Program is to help ease the financial burdens of classroom experiences. Teachers can apply for minigrants up to $500. The minigrant will be in the form of reimbursement and funds can be used to reimburse expenses accrued from bus and transportation fees, admission fees to museums or performances, speaker/presenter fees, visiting artist stipends, etc… Teachers can apply for these funds year-round but will be limited to receiving one minigrant per school year. These funds are intended for classroom programs and not for individual student needs.
Please remember that this minigrant will be in the form of reimbursement. It is recommended to apply 2-3 weeks prior to the proposed activity so that you will know if funds are available and appropriate for your activity.
