COVID-19 Cancellations

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Hastings Live team has made the difficult decision to cancel Hastings Live programming through July 6. As of now, Hastings Live will begin on July 7 as Hastings City Band performances move to Tuesdays. Further determinations on July and August programming will be made on an ongoing basis as new information on the status of the pandemic becomes available.

About the Series

The Hastings Live Summer Entertainment Series consists of free outdoor concerts and children’s programming throughout the summer in beautiful Hastings, MI. The series is a collaborative effort between the Thornapple Arts Council and the City of Hastings.
Hastings Live is funded in part by a grant from the Michigan Arts and Culture Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
Venues

Thornapple Plaza
Our beautiful outdoor amphitheater hosts the Hastings City Band, Friday Night Features, the Community Concert Series, Playing at the Plaza, and Hastings Summerfest. Buy yourself a drink, pull up a section of grass, and enjoy a free concert in the great outdoors.
Barry County Courthouse Lawn
Situated just across the street from the Spray Plaza, the lawn of the Barry County Courthouse hosts Fridays at the Fountain. Bring a chair, relax by the fountain in the shade, and enjoy some great local music.
Plaza Rules
The following rules apply to Hastings Live programming at both the Thornapple Plaza. We thank you for your cooperation.
1. No outside alcohol
2. No smoking or vaping
3. No dogs (service dogs excepted)
